Terms and Conditions of Use
Last updated: 26 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the SwiftBOL web platform (the "Service"), an audio transcription, structuring, and summarization tool. By signing up, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to be bound by this agreement. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not use the Service.
1. Purpose of the Service
SwiftBOL is a cloud tool that transcribes audio recordings and live sessions, structures the content with artificial intelligence into summaries, chapters, and tasks, and lets users export, share, and search that content.
SwiftBOL is a software tool. It does not attend, participate in, or take responsibility for the meetings, classes, or conversations recorded through it, and it does not replace professional, legal, medical, or academic advice.
SwiftBOL uses third-party artificial intelligence systems. Transcripts, summaries, tests, flashcards, translations, documents and the answers from the “Ask your audio” chat (an AI assistant, not a person) are generated automatically, without human review, and may contain errors or omissions.
The Service is provided by SwiftBOL, a sole trader (autónomo), with address at Spain (postal address available on request at support@swiftbol.com) and contact email support@swiftbol.com. Full identification details are listed in the Legal Notice.
2. Consent to record and process audio
Before recording or uploading any audio, you must certify that you have obtained consent from all participants to record and process the conversation with artificial intelligence, in line with applicable wiretapping, data protection, and recording-consent laws in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for obtaining that consent and for the legality of every recording you create, upload, or process through the Service. SwiftBOL is not responsible for recordings made without the required consent.
3. User accounts, registration, and subscriptions
To use certain features of the platform, you must register and provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information.
You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You can sign up with your email and a password or with your Google account. If you use Google, your SwiftBOL account is linked to it and you are responsible for keeping it secure. By tapping “Continue with Google” or “Sign up with Google” you accept these Terms, as stated next to the button, and we keep a record of the version, date, IP address and browser. Your use of your Google account is also governed by Google's terms.
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account (or the minimum age set by the law of your country, if higher). If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to buy a paid plan.
The Free plan includes 2 hours of audio per month, 6 AI creations per month (practice tests, flashcards and documents such as minutes or emails), files up to 50 MB, one transcription at a time and a SwiftBOL notice on exports (a watermark on PDFs). The Standard and Unlimited plans include unlimited AI creations, subject to the fair use described in section 6, and exports without a watermark. The Standard plan includes 15 hours per month, files up to 50 MB and two transcriptions at a time for €9.99 + VAT a month (€12.09 incl. VAT) or €99.99 + VAT a year (€120.99 incl. VAT). The Unlimited plan includes unlimited audio hours (subject to the fair use in section 6), files up to 50 MB, five transcriptions at a time, speaker identification, custom instructions, a chat that reads the whole recording (up to about 3 hours of speech), priority support and priority access to Live Mode, for €19.99 + VAT a month (€24.19 incl. VAT) or €199.99 + VAT a year (€241.99 incl. VAT). Prices are in euros and include any applicable taxes; if you pay with a card in another currency, your bank may charge a currency conversion fee. Speaker identification and file sizes above about 24 MB depend on the availability of the transcription provider that offers them. Live Mode is available on paid plans.
Prices are shown before tax, next to the final price with Spanish VAT (21 %). The applicable VAT is added at checkout, and the total is shown before you confirm the payment and on your invoice. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
4. Automatic renewals and billing
Automatic renewal: paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable), and each renewal is charged at the current price of your plan and cycle, unless you cancel before the billing date. Your next renewal date is always shown in Billing.
By checking the renewal terms box and authorizing the initial payment, you give your express consent to the recurring charges corresponding to automatic renewals using your registered payment method.
How to cancel: online, at any time, from Billing → Manage billing, using the cancel option, without having to call or write to anyone. If you have any trouble, you can also ask at support@swiftbol.com and we will process it. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You keep access to paid features and your monthly hours until that date, and no further charge is made afterward. Cancelling is not the same as withdrawing: to withdraw and get a refund within the first 14 days, follow section 5.
Plan changes: if you already have a paid plan, you can switch plan or billing cycle (monthly or yearly) from Billing → Manage billing. The change applies immediately and the prorated difference for the rest of the period is charged at that moment; if you switch to a cheaper option, the amount in your favour is kept as credit towards your next invoices.
If you delete your account, your subscription is cancelled at that moment and you lose access to the rest of the period you paid for, without a refund (unless you are still within the withdrawal period in section 5). If you want to use that time, cancel first from Manage billing and delete your account once the period ends.
We may change subscription prices for objective reasons, such as changes in the cost of AI or infrastructure providers, in taxes or in the plan's features, giving you at least 30 days' notice to your account email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period; if you don't agree, you can cancel at no cost before it takes effect.
Discount codes are entered in Billing before you pay, apply when valid and active, and do not stack with other offers unless expressly stated. Each account's invite code gives whoever uses it 15% off their first payment; you cannot use your own code (see section 13).
5. Right of withdrawal, refunds, and cancellation
Right of withdrawal: if you buy as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from the day you buy a paid plan to withdraw from the contract without needing to give a reason (Articles 102 et seq. of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users). To meet the deadline, it is enough to tell us your decision before it expires.
By checking the terms box in Billing before paying, you expressly request that the Service begin immediately, without waiting for the withdrawal period to end. If you withdraw within those 14 days after already using the Service, we will only charge the amount proportional to the time or use already enjoyed up to the date you tell us, and refund the rest.
How to withdraw: send support@swiftbol.com, preferably from your account email, a clear statement that you are withdrawing (you can use the model below), stating your account and the purchase date. We will confirm receipt by email, end the subscription (your account will move to the Free plan) and refund you without undue delay and in any case within 14 calendar days of receiving your decision, using the same payment method you used and at no cost to you. Cancelling from Manage billing only stops the renewal: it is not a withdrawal and does not trigger a refund.
Model withdrawal form (only send it if you want to withdraw from the contract; any other clear statement also works): "To SwiftBOL (SwiftBOL), Spain (postal address available on request at support@swiftbol.com), support@swiftbol.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: subscription to the SwiftBOL [Standard / Unlimited] plan. Ordered on [date]. Name of consumer: [name]. Address of consumer: [address]. Account email: [email]. Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper). Date: [date]."
After the 14-day period: payments are final and non-refundable, except for genuine, duly justified technical failures where a real and serious problem directly attributable to the application's operation is demonstrated, and without prejudice to your rights for lack of conformity (section 9). Issues arising from third-party configurations, your own device or microphone, or user error are excluded. Requests should be sent to support@swiftbol.com with a description of the issue and the affected dates.
Nothing in this section limits any right you may have under applicable law that cannot be waived by contract.
6. Hour quota and fair use
Monthly hours reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC) and do not roll over. Audio duration is measured from the file or recording actually processed by the transcription engine. If processing fails, no minutes are deducted.
On top of each plan's monthly quota, including the Unlimited plan, a fair-use limit of 4 hours of processed audio per calendar day, per account, applies. This limit protects the service against automated or abusive use and resets every day at midnight UTC (1:00 in winter and 2:00 in summer, mainland Spain time); if you reach it, the current session stops automatically and you can resume normal use the next day.
Meeting bot (paid plans, once available on your account): the Standard plan includes up to 2 hours and the Unlimited plan up to 15 hours of meeting recording per calendar month per account; if you need more, we can offer a tailored business plan. Each bot records at most 3 hours per meeting and leaves the meeting by itself when it reaches that maximum or when the month's bot hours run out, and also if within 10 minutes nobody lets it in from the waiting room or nobody else joins, or if the meeting stays silent for 15 minutes in a row; when a bot is scheduled it reserves the time it may record and, when it finishes, only what it actually recorded is deducted. Unused bot hours don't roll over and renew on the 1st of each month. What the bot records also counts as processed audio for the daily fair-use limit. When it joins, the bot shows its name and posts in the meeting chat (on Zoom, Google Meet and Teams) that it is recording; that notice doesn't relieve you of informing attendees and obtaining their consent where the law requires it, as set out in section 2.
AI creations (tests, flashcards and documents) are counted per calendar month each time content is generated or regenerated; reopening something already created doesn't count. Unused creations don't roll over. On every plan, a fair-use limit of 40 creations per hour per account applies against automated or abusive use. AI-generated content may contain errors: review it before using or sending it.
Live Mode processes audio in short, successive segments (pseudo-streaming) rather than continuous low-latency streaming. If the microphone picks up no sound for 9 minutes in a row while you're recording, a prompt appears; if you don't respond, the recording stops by itself at 10 minutes so you don't use up hours by mistake. Everything recorded up to then is kept.
7. Intellectual property and your content
All intellectual property rights over the interface, software, source code, designs, and the SwiftBOL brand belong to its owner or to those who have authorised their use.
You retain full ownership of the audio, transcripts, summaries, and information you upload or generate on the platform, and you grant SwiftBOL only the technical processing license strictly necessary to provide the Service, including sending audio to third-party AI providers for transcription and summarization, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You can export your sessions from the dashboard at any time and at no cost, including to move them to another service.
8. Public sharing links
You can generate a public link to a summary so people without an account can view it. Anyone with that link can see your first name, the title, the date and length, the summary, chapters, key points, tasks, study questions, and the tests and flashcards you've created (never the audio or the full transcript). Don't share links to sensitive or confidential recordings unless you want that content accessible to anyone holding the link. You can turn a link off at any time from the session: it stops working immediately. You are responsible for what you share; if we receive a substantiated notice that a link shows illegal content, we may turn it off under section 11.
9. Warranties and limitation of liability (please read carefully)
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the platform, transcription, or AI-generated summaries are free of interruptions, delays, or errors, and AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies: review it before making decisions based on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftBOL is not liable for decisions made based on an AI-generated summary, missed tasks, lost recordings, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
Users outside the EU/EEA (for example, in the United States): TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow these exclusions or limitations; if so, they do not apply to you to that extent.
These limitations do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to personal injury, or to any other case where the law does not allow liability towards consumers to be limited. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer in the EU/EEA.
Conformity guarantee: as a consumer, you always keep the statutory guarantees for digital content and services (Articles 114 et seq. of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users). We are responsible for any lack of conformity that appears while the Service is being provided: you can ask us to bring it into conformity at no cost and, if we don't do so within a reasonable time or the defect is serious, to get a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract with a refund of the corresponding part.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use SwiftBOL to record or process audio without the required consent, upload or share content that is illegal or infringes third-party rights, impersonate another person, upload malicious files, attempt to access other users' data, abuse API quotas through automated means, or disrupt the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You also may not use the Service if you are a person or entity subject to EU, United Nations or US sanctions, from a country or territory under a comprehensive embargo, or in breach of applicable export control laws.
11. Illegal content and copyright notices (DSA and DMCA)
Single point of contact: for users, Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act), our point of contact is support@swiftbol.com, in Spanish or English.
How to report illegal content: if you believe a SwiftBOL public link shows illegal content, write to support@swiftbol.com with (1) the exact address of the link, (2) an explanation of why you believe the content is illegal, (3) your name and email (except where the law allows anonymous notices) and (4) a statement that your notice is accurate and made in good faith. We will confirm receipt, review the notice diligently and objectively, and tell you our decision and how to challenge it.
Moderation: we don't review user content in advance or use automated moderation tools; a person reviews every notice. If we turn off a link, remove content or suspend an account, we will email you an explanation of the measure, the facts it is based on, the law or clause applied and how to challenge it (by replying to that email, which a person will review, or before the courts), unless the law prevents us. If we become aware of a possible criminal offence threatening people's life or safety, we will report it to the authorities.
Copyright (United States, DMCA): our designated agent to receive notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act is SwiftBOL, Spain (postal address available on request at support@swiftbol.com), phone available on request, email support@swiftbol.com. Your notice must include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; the address of the infringing link; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf. If we remove your content because of a notice, you can send us a counter-notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.
12. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms for legal or security reasons, or to reflect changes in the Service. We'll let you know with a notice in your dashboard or by email, stating the date of the new version, and you can accept it with one click on that notice. If you keep using the Service after being notified, you'll be deemed to accept the new version; in any case, we'll ask you to accept it expressly before you take out or change a paid plan.
If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the Service, cancel your subscription at any time from Billing → Manage billing and delete your account from Settings. If the change affects you negatively in a significant way, you may also terminate the contract within 30 days of the notice and we'll refund the proportional part of the period already paid that you haven't enjoyed. Price changes follow section 4.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country or state of residence (inside or outside the European Union, including US states) that cannot be excluded by contract.
If you have a complaint, please write to us first at support@swiftbol.com and we will try to resolve it. As a consumer you can also contact your local consumer protection authority and, if you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country. SwiftBOL is not a member of the Spanish Consumer Arbitration System or any other alternative dispute resolution body; if we can't resolve your complaint, we will tell you in writing whether we agree to use one. These Terms do not require you to go through arbitration first, nor do they exclude your right to go to the courts of your country or state of residence.
Questions about these Terms, billing, or refunds: support@swiftbol.com.
13. Referral program
Every account has an invite link and code, which you'll find under Plans in your dashboard. Taking part is voluntary and free: if you share your link or code, you accept the terms in this section.
Your reward: for every 10 friends who count, we give you 1 month of the Standard plan. A friend counts once they sign up through your link or with your code, with their usual email (not a temporary one), and complete at least one transcription. Each person counts only once: addresses that differ only by a “+…” suffix (or by dots, on Gmail) are treated as the same.
How it's given: if your account is free, it moves to the Standard plan for one month from when you earn it (if a free month is already running, the new one starts when it ends) and then goes back to the Free plan by itself, with no charge or renewal. If you already pay for a renewing subscription, we credit the price of one month of Standard (€12.09, VAT included) to your balance, which is deducted from your next invoices. You can earn up to 12 months per account. The reward can't be exchanged for cash or transferred.
Discount for the people you invite: whoever takes out a paid plan using your code gets 15% off their first payment. It doesn't stack with other offers and nobody can use their own code.
Not allowed: inviting yourself or creating fake, duplicate or disposable-email accounts; spam or unsolicited messages; bidding on the SwiftBOL brand or its variants in ads; impersonating SwiftBOL or making false claims about the service. If we detect fraud or abuse, we may not count the affected invitations, withdraw the months earned with them and remove you from the program.
Program change: from 25 September 2026 this program replaces the previous one (15% commission from 20 subscribed people). Commissions already earned under those terms will be honored and, until 25 October 2026, anyone who was already taking part can ask us by email to apply the previous terms to the people they referred before 25 September.
The program creates no employment, partnership or agency relationship between you and SwiftBOL. We may change or end it with 30 days' notice by email or on this page; months already earned will be honored.
14. If you live outside Spain
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under the laws of your country, province or state that cannot be excluded by contract.
United Kingdom: you keep your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, when buying online, the 14-day cancellation right described in section 5.
Mexico: you keep your rights under the Federal Consumer Protection Law and can contact the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO). Prices are shown and charged in euros; your bank converts them to pesos and may charge a fee.
Canada: you keep the rights granted by your province's consumer protection law, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. Prices are charged in euros and your bank handles the conversion.
United States (automatic renewal): before you pay we show the price, how often it renews and how to cancel, and you give your express consent by ticking the box. You can cancel online at any time from Billing → Manage billing, with no need to call anyone. For yearly plans we'll send you a reminder before the renewal, and we'll tell you about any price change at least 30 days in advance (section 4). Prices are charged in euros and your bank handles the conversion.
