How to use it
- Create your free SwiftBOL account (no card).
- Open Meeting assistant, paste the Google Meet link (meet.google.com/…), confirm participants are informed and click “Send the bot”.
- The assistant asks to join the meeting: admit it like any guest. When it joins, it posts in the chat that it is recording.
- When the meeting ends, the assistant leaves on its own and a few minutes later the minutes are in SwiftBOL.
Let it join your meetings on its own
- Connect Google Calendar in Integrations → Connections.
- In Meeting assistant, turn on “Automatically send the bot to my meetings” and choose whether it joins all meetings with a video link or only the ones you organize.
- Every meeting with a Google Meet link gets scheduled. You can cancel any of them from “Your bots”.
No bot: record the meeting's tab
- With Google Meet open in Chrome or Edge on a computer, go to SwiftBOL and click “Record a video call from another tab”.
- Pick the meeting's tab and tick “Also share tab audio”.
- When you stop recording, SwiftBOL prepares the minutes just as with the assistant.
This way nobody else joins the meeting. Still, tell participants and get their consent before recording.
SwiftBOL stores your minutes in the European Union. The assistant only joins the meetings you send it to or the calendar meetings you choose, and it has no access to your Google account.
Frequently asked questions
Which plan do I need?
Any. The Free plan includes 1 hour of assistant a month to try it in a real meeting; Standard, 10 hours; Unlimited, 50; and Business, 100 per person.
Can the other participants see it?
Yes. The assistant joins as one more participant, under its name, and posts in the meeting chat that it is recording. Even so, tell participants and get their consent before recording.
The assistant doesn't get into the meeting
Check that the link is a Google Meet link and that someone in the meeting admits it when it asks to join. If nobody admits it within 10 minutes, it gives up and you'll see it in “Your bots”. Some Google Workspace organizations don't let outside people join: then the admin has to allow it, or you can record the tab without a bot.
Do I need Google Workspace or a paid Google plan?
No. It works with meetings from personal Google accounts and Google Workspace, and Google Meet doesn't need recording turned on.
Where is the data stored?
Your minutes and transcripts are stored in the European Union (Frankfurt) and never used to train AI. If you want, the audio is deleted as soon as the minutes are ready.
